Spoken, then written.

The last patient leaves. Your notes are already done.

Dentovi listens, or you dictate a two-minute summary. It drafts the clinical note, the patient letter and the follow-ups. You check it, approve it, and go home on time.

How it works

Three taps. No typing.

Nothing to install on the practice computer. Nothing to type.

  1. 1

    Tap the patient.

Open today's list, tap the name, confirm consent.

  2. 2

    Say it.

Record the consult, or put the device down and dictate a summary after the patient leaves.

  3. 3

    Approve it.

Review the draft note, letter and follow-ups. Fix anything. Sign off.

From "she's back Friday" to a booked appointment.

After the patient walks out you say what you're thinking — "order the implants today, she's back Friday, second opinion from Dr Chen." Dentovi turns that into three things:

You, after the patient leaves

“Order the implants today, she's back Friday, second opinion from Dr Chen.”

A clinical note

With FDI tooth numbering, ready for your review.

Referral · second opinion, Dr Chen

A patient letter

In plain English, ready to send once you approve it.

To the patient · "We'll see you on Friday."

Follow-up tasks

Who does what, by when — so the implants get ordered and Friday gets booked.

  • Order implantsReception · today
  • Book FridayReception · today
  • Second opinionDr Chen · this week

This is the part other tools miss. Transcribing is easy. Making sure the follow-up actually happens is the job.

Day one

What changes on day one.

Three things you will notice in the first week.

Your evenings.

Notes finished between patients, not after the last one.

Revenue you were leaking.

Follow-ups, rebooks and referrals you mentioned out loud but never got around to writing down.

Nothing to migrate.

Keep your practice management system. Dentovi sits beside it. Copy the approved note across in one tap.

Privacy and consent

Built for Australian privacy law, not around it.

Recording is optional, audio is short-lived, and every note shows a clinician reviewed it.

Consent first.

Recording only starts after consent is confirmed on screen. A patient can decline — you dictate a summary instead. Both paths are normal.

Audio deleted within 24 hours.

Transcripts and approved notes are kept for your records. Audio is not.

Your data stays yours.

Patient data is never used to train AI models. Hosted in [HOSTING REGION — CONFIRM].

A record of review.

The original AI draft is kept alongside your edits, so there is evidence a clinician reviewed every note.

Built by a Sydney dentist, between patients.

Dentovi was co-founded by Dr Phillip Ajaje, a practising dentist at All Day All Night Dental in Mascot. It is used in his own practice, with his own patients, and that is where the improvements come from.

The team that builds and supports it is in Sydney. When you have a question, you reach the people who made it, in your own time zone.

Australian owned, and made for Australian practices: FDI tooth numbering, Australian privacy law, and letters in plain English your patients will recognise.

Questions

Questions dentists ask.

Straight answers. If yours is not here, Kate in the corner will have a go, or book 15 minutes.

Do I have to record my patients?

No. Many dentists dictate a short summary after the patient leaves instead. Both work the same way.

What happens if a patient says no to recording?

You tap "Dictate instead". Nothing is recorded. You still get the note, letter and follow-ups.

Does it replace my practice management system?

No. It drafts the documentation; your PMS stays the official record. You copy the approved note across.

Is the AI note clinically accurate?

It's a draft. You review and approve every note before it goes anywhere. The original draft is kept alongside your edits.

Where is my data stored?

[HOSTING REGION — CONFIRM]. Audio is deleted within 24 hours. Patient data is never used to train AI models.

What devices does it work on?

iPad, iPhone, Android and any modern browser. Install it from the browser in three taps — no app store needed.
